Good afternoon car enthusiasts of Los Angeles!
The Detail Medics are back with another tale of Professional Mobile Auto Detailing done RIGHT. Once again, we get called in to make things better, to, as our motto says, BRING YOUR CAR BACK TO LIFE!
Today’s story takes place in San Pedro. San Pedro is one of the many areas of Los Angeles that we service, of course, and maybe next time, this story will be at your home or office, in the Southbay, or Santa Clarita, or maybe farther east, like the San Gabriel Valley.
One of our clients called us to ask us to restore his old Honda. It’d been sitting in his garage, and he wanted to sell it, so he called in The Detail Medics to restore it to its former glory. Check out the before pic of this car:
Clearly, this automobile needed some work. And its owner called the right guys for the job!
We came in and did our Complete Mobile Auto Detail package, giving this car a thorough wash and clean, before detailing the exterior and interior. This included a vacuum and shampoo of the interior surfaces, as well conditioning all the plastic and vinyl areas. On the outside, we performed a steam wash, followed by a clay bar treatment to remove surface contaminants, a paint restoration, dressing for tires, molding and rims, a headlight restoration, and finally a wet gloss shine, to make it look like it just came off the factory floor!

We’re not the only ones to think so. Our client wanted to sell it for $3,000, and put the picture and ad up on Craigslist for that price. Forty-five minutes later, he got so many phone calls and offers, he was able to sell it for $4,000 cash.

Hello out there in not-so-sunny SoCal! It’s been pretty wet the past couple of weeks, right? Well, as wet and rainy as it gets in Los Angeles. You know, one day of clouds, one day of rain and three days of everyone bragging about “surviving the storm”!
